The +55 bar is famous in Curitiba for its versatility of being a restaurant – bar for happy hour as well as a nightclub with modern music. Focusing in a public that has a taste for exclusive things.
The nightlife in Curitiba indicated a trend of people’s circulation increase in Vicente Machado Avenue, where is exactly the central and privileged location of the bar. As the number of street restaurants and bars became bigger by the day, the idea of the +55 bar was to create a new approach to this public, opening a special door to the street.
The container was an easy way to extend the bar without the reconstruction issues and a young approach to show the bar as a box, where good surprises are always waiting for the costumers.
The project ended approximately one year later, when they removed the containers.
